Every year, for five years, CAUSINDY has brought together 30 of the brightest emerging leaders from Australia and Indonesia. Today the alumni of our delegations number 150, with the network of former speakers, mentors and partners extending even further. Causindy recognises the immense potential this group possesses to improve the Indonesia Australia relationship, and seeks to leverage this through its various alumni programs and events.
Alumni Events
Through a program of regular alumni events and opportunities, Causindy ensures that delegates are able to remain connected with one another beyond the conference they attend together. Alumni events also allow for interaction between alumni of different cohorts, thus integrating the entire Causindy network. In previous years alumni have attended pre-departure events, academic panels and networking events during the annual conference and social alumni events.
Alumni Grants
The Causindy Alumni Grants program has been established to facilitate the development of ideas generated by CAUSINDY delegates and alumni. The goal of the grants program is to strengthen Indonesia Australia relations and to help put alumni ideas into action to create meaningful change. Along with the provision of seed funding, the Alumni Grants program focusses on ensuring that recipients are able to leverage the expertise within Causindy’s networks to implement their initiatives.
Causindy alumni events and the Causindy Alumni Grants program are supported by the Commonwealth through the Australia-Indonesia Institute of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
